Hiring PostgreSQL DBA
Job Description:
- Minimum experience of 3+ years
- Have good experience in Planning, Installation and Configuration of PostgreSQL 9.5 / 9.6/10/11/12.
- Installation and configuration of Postgres streaming replication between Production and Disaster Recovery site.
- Must Have good experience in PostgreSQL tools PG Admin III, IV and Streaming replication, online backup, performance tuning, PITR.
- Must Have Work Experience in the Data center Environment , Architecture.
- Coordinate and support with other teams to resolve troubleshooting issues.
- Managed Production databases in a 24/7 environment.
- Creating shell scripts to take the base backups automatically.
- Installing and configuring the CENTOS cluster for HA Postgres database.
- Create database metrics (e.g. slow running queries, index , locks for monitoring production environments) Prepared and updated scripts for various administrative tasks, Wrote UNIX Shell Scripts for scheduling backup jobs and day to day routine tasks.
- Up gradation of PostgreSQL server from 9.4 to 9.6 and 9.6 to 12.
